In The Rear-View and Up Ahead

Born in England in 1980, I followed literature at Oxford University with screenwriting at London Film School (LFS), before establishing my creative arts company Lexia Snowe Arts in 2008. I have since worked as an international freelance writer and digital designer, using all proceeds to steadily advance my screenwriting and filmmaking.

Screenwriter

I have written a number of original feature-length screenplays on spec, all in the action, thriller and noir genres. Those intended for directing by other people include Terminal Delivery, Infirm Terrain and Freight Run, and will be taken to the Hollywood market in 2014.

I've also written a number of scripts for directing myself, as part of my writing-directing outfit Benthic Pictures. Of those scripts, most notable is my debut feature Hard Place Rock, as well as my short films Midnight Oil and LA Five.

Filmmaking: The Road Map

In fall 2013, I wrote and directed action short "Project P" (working title), in which I also play the lead role. The 5-minute film is currently in post-production, and will be released later in 2014 through Benthic Pictures, the filmmaking and production subsidiary of Lexia Snowe Arts.

In 2014, I will shoot a number of self-penned short films, some simply to learn and experiment; others for submission to festivals. In 2014-2015, I will shoot my first feature as writer-director, crime/noir thriller Hard Place Rock. The film will be submitted to festivals with the aims of raising my profile as a filmmaker and securing a distributor.

Spells 'Color' How?

I write American stories, targeting US/international audiences, and will shortly establish a Californian subsidiary of Lexia Snowe Arts. In development of my latest projects, I currently divide my time between Los Angeles, London and Sydney.
